Hi everybody,
I am Alexander, a maker of Freefitter - new fitness app that I wanted to be more engaging than coach routines + social network where you just comment other workouts. That's not bad, but wanted to go further and test fitness app designed for High Intensity workouts as battles that can be done with other athletes (basically your friends that you follow or other athletes that you discover).
I created and tested app for more than 1 year on many other athletes from different backgrounds (boxing, BJJ, MMA, runners or regular athletes practicing High Intensity workouts).
Beside this feature of battles I've implemented the whole set of tools that usually athletes use when they advance in experience (add personal workouts or exercises, calendar monthly, annual graph, stats per day, compare different sessions reps and time, ...) People can start with coaching programs than can continue as is or move to personal programs if they want to.
The main goal was simple: add some fun, provide all tools and freedom for advanced athletes and ship it to everyone because our plans are not expensive (who said that fitness should cost a lot?)
Second goal: make routines that focus on strength as well, not only cardio...We are not 7min workouts designed for people that never run or do pushups. The goal is to reach athletic condition (20-30min of sport) even if someone starts with 7min workout.
Our challenge: design "battle' workouts (Blitz, Standard or Strength) that should be short and with enough of variety. Beside battle workouts we designed also 'training' workouts. Coach mixes all of these workouts depending on your goal and level.
Our perspectives: add social features in the feature (comment workouts, chat...) if people like it.
Check it out and let me know what you think!
All suggestions are welcome !!
