I designed Frazely to be a solid, all-in-one language learning app that actually works. There are no crazy innovations, just features and content that make sense: - only high-quality human-made materials - thousands of words in context - short stories written for beginners - smart reviews with Spaced Repetition System - 5 learning styles (writing, listening, flashcards, etc) - playlist mode for learning on the go Languages: Arabic, Polish, Spanish, European Portuguese, and more coming
Hi! Frazely is a result of my lifelong passion for language learning. I wanted to make an app that actually helps people learn languages, and not just chase streaks. It's not very flashy or gamified, which makes it more suitable for serious learners.
The app focuses heavily on learning in context - through example sentences and stories, which is a natural way of acquiring a new language.
You can save any word you don't know with one click, and it gets added to your personal vocabulary list. An SRS algorithm automatically schedules daily reviews for you to maximize your learning efficiency (you review words right before forgetting them).
And finally - there is a playlist mode so you can learn in the background - while running or cooking.
The amount of available materials depends on the language. Currently Arabic and Polish and the leading languages, each with 2,500+ words in context and multiple graded readers (that's over a year worth of study materials). All content was prepared in collaboration with teachers, translators and voice actors (human only).
You can test the app by just signing up - a selection of lessons is always free. There is no free trial or credit card needed.
