Hello world! I recently shipped Franz Fahrenheit v3 – an iOS weather app that shows Celsius and Fahrenheit at the same time that I made for expats in the US and Americans abroad who want to learn the Celsius or Fahrenheit system. Apple acquired and deprecated the API I was using (DarkSky), so I had to integrate iOS WeatherKit. I decided to re-write the whole thing in SwiftUI and do an experiment to see how far I can get with chatGPT-4 generated code only. It was able to write functioning code for most stuff, what it couldn't do was convert UTC to local time and figure out how to fix some layout issues. Turned out pretty well, I think. Still a hundred things to improve/fix of course, especially around data caching/refresh.
