  • Pros:

Good fit, keeps you active, makes back stronger, best active seat solution I have used

Counterweight is heavy, but no heavier than a regular chair

I have seen a noticeable change in attention span when i am able to move more freely in the chair. My back problems has significantly reduced and it feels stronger over all. I have a very large range of motion so it is easier to reach things further away from me.

The chair is tailored perfectly for my height and bone structure, I can sit all day without any aching or need for readjustment.

    9/10 overall

Jeremy C has used this product for one month.

So is this like a self balancing chair? 🤔 Looks so easy to fall off from but satisfying at the same moment.

@amrith Hey there, I'm one of the designers here at Formid! It is indeed an self balancing chair. Sitting in a Formid is definitely a new experience, but you'd be surprised how easy it is. The whole concept of Formid is to be healthy even when you're sitting, so it's the continuous balancing that's keeping your muscles activated. We've also added a urethane cap to the base that grips the ground so you wont slip out. We've been trying to do 720's at the office for a few weeks now so if a bunch of nerds can handle it, I'm sure you could too.

@bitrewards Thanks for the interest Alexander. I'm one of the designers at Formid, and I can tell ya it's a little heavier than it looks. Because we wanted to make it counterbalanced, for every pound at the seat we need about five at the base to ensure it stands up. Each Formid is built specifically to fit the person buying it, so the weight can vary depending on how tall you are.
