Hey , Founder of flomo here. We are so excited to share flomo with you!! During our career life, we found many people did not take notes or memos. Not because they don't want to, it was those apps! Most tools fell into a trap: focusing on a better writing experience or connecting the knowledge. But the truth is that, only a few people would become writers, however thinking better is more important for the rest. Compared with how to connect knowledge and write essays, what we lack is to abstract information and ideas out of memos. As McLuhan mentioned, "we shape our tools thereafter our tools shape us." So we decided to develop flomo--a minimal memo-taking app based on zettelkasten method. When ideas pop up in your mind, you can take individual memos in flomo as fast as tweeting. You may use tags to describe the key aspects of the memos, and we also provide you Daily review so that you may conveniently review the previous memos and associate them with each other. As a minimal memo-taking tool, it's also critical to provide the finest user experience. Thus, we offer synchronization across all platforms, API and extensions, and we guarantee that there will never be any advertisements in flomo. We believe that what truly matters is your thoughts, not your notes. If you are someone who wants to think better through note-taking, then flomo is for you. And we hope you enjoy it. Thank you for your upvote. Your feedback is fully welcomed. So feel free to comment here or send emails to feedback@flomo.app or join our Discord https://discord.gg/HezpBSzN . Pretty cool idea! I will definitely try it out! Maybe you could try to translate the App Store entry to english as well! All i see is chinese/mandarin when i clicked on the Link to Google Play Store.

@athiele_ Thanks! Already changed~

@plidezus_leo I just installed the app and everything is in chinese as well. i guess it's because my phone is set to german language and maybe defaults back to chinese instead of english? Maybe it would make sense to change the default language for the app and set chinese for certain language codes or regions.

A lightweight app focusing on capturing ideas and thoughts, and linking them in the best and sometimes unnoticed way. A practical application of “How to Take Smart Notes: One Simple Technique to Boost Writing, Learning and Thinking” written by Sönke Ahrens. An app definitely worth trying. If you happen to be a practitioner of zettelkasten, it’s just for you.
