Hey folks, yep - so Flappy Royale is out and ready for all to download and play! I'm pumped, we've been working on this for months and had 10 million games got played during the beta

Too hard, tried for 8 minutes, too hard. Have a one star review and deleted.
@androidlove it's exactly as hard as the original Flappy Bird, so it should really be judged on how well it improves upon that original game. The game definitely doesn't deserve a 1-star review for that.
@ozgrozer Yep! To be clear, this is by design. We wanted to make sure that you always have a full game of 99 opponents to play against, without needing to wait. Being able to play offline (when on e.g. a plane or a subway) was also a big plus for us.
You're always playing against real human players. Each match is played against recordings of the previous 99 people who have played the same course as you. After you complete a game, we upload your recording to the server so others can play against it.
Didn't realize how much I missed flappy bird.
Sometimes while playing all the "other birds" disappear right away (the counter of "alive" ones are still there)
@danny_cohen1 we have some dynamic performance checkers, and if your FPS is too low for too long we drop the sprites of birds which are going to die soon to try keep your game smooth (there's an option to turn that off in the settings)
