What if we change the audience segment in the middle of an experiment? What does that do to the results?
@michelle_bankas really interesting questions
does an exposure mean the flag was evaluated or the person actually saw the variant?
@saad_el_gueddari Good question. The best practice is to fire the exposure when the user enters the experiment. The idea behind is to tell the story of "The user entered my experimentation, is the variant he received has helped trigger the success event?".
If he is exposed outside the experiment, that would skew the quality of the experiment
Quick question: Could cloudflare be used to host? Thanks
Going back to the same flag to roll out or roll back feels like a sensible way to finish an experiment. Keeping that last step close to the result could make it easier to act on what you learn.
@oleksii_sekundant thanks Oleksii, we agree :) we're already working on even tighter integration between the end of an experiment and changes to the underlying flag.
