Howdy Product Hunters! First of all, huge thanks to @bramk for hunting us :) FirstDevJob is aimed at helping people find their very first software developer job (mainly for people who are trying to transition into tech). Right now there are three parts that help with different aspects of the process: - Jobs: ~500 jobs for junior positions. New ones being added every day. - Posts: Knowledge in the form of articles. (from learning to code to building a portfolio to interview prep) - Stories: Interviews of people who have successfully made the career switch to development. So that you can learn from people who were in your position before. Other than above resources, we try to personally help people who are in this phase(questions about coding prep, portfolio, interview etc.). So if you have any questions feel free to ask in comments or write a personal mail (hello [at] firstdevjob.com). We try our best to give good advice. Feedback/suggestions welcome!

@lalwanivikas @bramk Congrats on the launch. The design is beautiful and the content is easy to discover. Have you thought about opensourcing the codebase for other devs to take a sneak at? Best of luck with it! Subscribed to your newsletter 💯

@notrab Thanks for your kind words Jamie! Yes, we are thinking of open sourcing at least the client part. But can't commit on the timeline right now :(

Site is down, I guess this idea didn't pan out. Weird because it was featured in yesterday's newsletter...
