That's exactly what I was looking for. Any plans for the next steps already?

@rumberg There's two considerations, I think: Fintech has a strong community offline, but lacks much of a community online (outside of being pretty active on Twitter). There's definitely potential to help there. There's also demand for a fintech content stream that is more than just a raft of press releases. Finnit has the potential to address both by providing a platform to share and discuss interesting content, or just share a start a debate around a text post.

Hey everyone! I'm the maker of Finnit, and I'd be glad to answer any questions.

Thanks for checking out Finnit! The aim of the site is to provide the kernel of an online community for fintech. There's many active and opinionated fintech enthusiasts, but no conversation hub at the moment. Most discussions get fired around in 140 characters on Twitter and are quickly lost. Sometimes that's desirable, sometimes not. Fintech is reshaping business and consumer experience in some major ways, providing greater transparency and competition for standard financial products. It's not just spawning a whole ecosystem of startups, in many cases it's enabling startups across the board.
