File Capsule lets you write Markdown notes directly alongside your folders and files, keeping context where your work actually lives. Fully local. No cloud, no sync.
I built File Capsule after repeatedly losing context in old project folders.
The files were still there, but the explanations and decisions behind them weren’t.
I wanted notes to live next to files, without moving everything into another system or relying on the cloud.
File Capsule is an experiment in treating folders as pages and annotating the file system itself.
