I'm going to give this a try. It's a shame HomeKit settings mostly live inside each app

What sets this apart from other apps like Muzzley and Alfred Smart Home?

@askdaylen , thanks for your question! Muzzley and Alfred are good apps and I am sure they both will have a great future. But non of them is compatible with Apple HomeKit ecosystem yet. And Ezzi Home is a free and simple app that does work with HomeKit.
Also as I see Alfred is for Android mainly (iOS is in Beta only for now).
And Muzzley works with services, not with devices. So it asks you to link your user accounts to control your devices through the developer web-site.
