Explain My Numbers

Dear Product Hunt 👋 I built this because I kept seeing the same problem everywhere: people have data, but no confidence in what it actually proves. Spreadsheets, exports, CSVs — revenue reports, marketing performance, costs, forecasts — they’re full of numbers, but turning them into clear, defensible insights still takes hours (or a lot of guesswork). Explain My Numbers does one thing really well: you paste your numbers, click Explain, and it tells you what your data actually says — clearly, in plain English. What makes it different from “just using ChatGPT”: It’s data-first, not prompt-first It focuses on numeric reasoning, not generic explanations It highlights what changed, what matters, and how strong the evidence is It doesn’t store your data (zero retention by default) It’s designed for founders, analysts, marketers, and anyone who needs to trust their numbers — not just describe them.
