Hi there Product Hunters, Together with a small but dedicated team we’ve been running a few communities on Reddit since 2012. With some rules, fancy CSS and spoiler tags in place we were able to guard esports viewers from spoilers. While we love Reddit, it had some serious limitations. Not weird, because it's not built for on-demand experiences. That’s why we decided to build our own platform. That took us a while. With a lot of ideas and no designer, we shit the bed for the better of two years. Once we finally did have a designer we started building eventvods.com. In September 2017 we launched V2 of the website and we’ve been upgrading and growing ever since. We’re always looking for ways to improve, please share any ideas or feedback you might have :)

Esports definitely need something like this! Would be cool to include non-team based games though.

Great concept and functionality

No starcraft :(

Thank you, @spectreof! We have some esports titles in mind to cover later on. Starcraft actually was one of the spoiler-free subreddits (https://www.reddit.com/r/Spoiler...) for esports fans worldwide. Unfortunately, the updaters left and no replacement was found. All matches on the website and subreddits are still added manually so we decided the games we'd cover by checking demand within the esports community (and seeing who within the team was following that specific title and open to covering it). That being said, Starcraft is on the list of potential new games for 2019. Candidate list: been around for a while (Starcraft, Call of Duty, Heroes of the Storm), battle royale games (PUBG, Fortnite, CoD), card games (Hearthstone, Artifact), fighting games (Street Fighter, Super Smash), mobile games (Vainglory, Clash Royale), and sports games (FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K).
