@kylerussell has a good video overview of Equil on TechCrunch. I can see this being particularly useful for designers to store and share sketches.

@rrhoover that is exactly why I fell in love with this product. I do a lot of drawing and sketching, that is always time consuming to digitise. It is perfect for me to see what I draw on a computer screen. It brings artists of the pen and paper to the digital world.

Brings back fond memories of my first ever "smart pen". This technology has come a long way.

@nikkielizdemere yes I have the livescribe 3 but this looks extremely desireable! Normal paper, colour refills *sigh*

I'm not really interested in this product, but I am glad to see it isn't being pitched at people who fetishize pens/notebooks (me included) but rather at practical applications (worker with a clipboard).

@willimholte yeah, it just works the other way around. Takes in the natural way of input and helps do all the work for you. I personally always start anything I do with paper, so It would be great to have it around, without having to type it again.

The product is just the natural way of doing things. Great if you are a writer, editor or an artist, meeting minutes while you are at a meeting (send it immediately). So many uses cases for this product!
