What about the licenses and copyrights? Can these be used in a proprietary for-profit product? There are mentions of copyrights in the LICENSE file, but I'm not sure how it should be interpreted.

why do you use pngs, when you can just use the real unicode emojis in html?
@oliamazing Not everyone has a laptop that displays emoji in a nice way, or have support for all of them.

@oliamazing Some CMS solutions do not support Emoji because of MySQL limitations. XenForo is a great example. You cannot post emoji on a standard XenForo installation.

@brianbest that flash was used to copy emoji to clipboard, not related to the css itself.
