I use this spreadsheet http://bit.ly/1nFkiXC and Rapportive. Works almost every time.

I use the old guess and check with Rapportive trick usually. Most of the time it's easy but this seems like a useful tool, assuming it works. I wish it would let me try out the product before signing up. Maybe it could prompt you to try and search for yourself to prove its value and give the visitor clear instructions.

Is it made by the same guys from http://www.minimalytics.com/ ? Or did they just steal the design? @sdmattg

@rrhoover there's also http://www.mailtester.com/ and http://toofr.com/ You enter addresses into Mailtester, and it tells you if that's an actual account on the mail server. Good for when Rapportive can't grab any data (ie. the address isn't used on Linkedin, etc.) Toofr's good also, but I ran out of queries too quickly on their free plan. $20 for only 50 queries is a bit high for me :D
