I've read it some time ago. It's also good for beginners.

I recommend this book to anyone who asks me how to get started in JS. It's a fantastic introduction, and by the end you are really starting to dig your teeth in. My recommendation is to go chapter by chapter, try the exercises at the end, if you fail, reread chapter until you get them all right first time. Then move on. Amazing work @marijnjh - I own two copies.
