Is it just me are some arXiv papers incredibly dry and difficult to read casually?
Recently I was reading through a paper and found myself wanting to be able to just click a sentence and have an LLM explain it to me like I’m 5 years old (or 10, or 15, or 0), just to really confirm that I’ve understood the sentence correctly. So over the holidays, I hacked together a site that does exactly that!
1. Load up any arXiv paper (take the URL and change “arxiv.org” to “elixiv.org”) 👀
2. Click a sentence 👆
3. Have it explained to you like you’re five! 🚀
