Another smart wallet contender, other than just location tracking I'd like to see a few more features before I'll bite though. Or I'll just use Apple Pay... ๐Ÿ˜„
@pieterpaul We're always interested in new feature ideas ;-)
@richardcanneman can it count the cash I'm carrying and display it on my Apple Watch? ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜œ
But if I lose it and they take everything out and leave the wallet... I just find the empty wallet :( Secretly I want to be baller enough to have a money clip, one credit card and phone. That's it.
@bentossell Haha, wise-guy do not carry cash in a wallet:
A two-way trackable money clip, or maybe a smart elastic band.
@richardcanneman haha I still want one!
Cool idea with a unique design approach! But still i find it hard not to use a smartphones payment solution!(Apple pay, Samsung pay etc.)
@tnsrig We are also very much into smart-phone payments! Thats why we try to slim our wallets down to the bare necessities. One of our stretch goals is to include NFC chips in our wallets.
Hi there, we have been super excited and been working hard on our new start-up for the past 6 months and yesterday weโ€™ve launched our Kickstarter project (funded within 14 hrs). Ekster Wallets is more than just another smart wallet. It is the first ultra-slim trackable wallets that provide instant card access with the click of a button. The two-way tracking feature prevents you from ever losing your wallet or phone again. We would really appreciate it if you checked out our campaign and kickstarter project: https://www.kickstarter.com/proj... And let us know what you think!! We'll be responding to comments here throughout the day.
I like the slim wallet approach. Tracking will help me understand where I lost it and maybe I can contact the place fast enough to "save" it. I like the reverse leather look. Good luck @richardcanneman @oliviermom
@moravtchik Thanks Leo, the concept was born out of frustration and real-life situations.. It also keeps your phone "safer"
