Hey Hunters: I founded Efographic to make it easier for email newsletters and infographics to be shared online. The web app takes a snapshot of your email newsletter (try it -- use inspiration.mailchimp.com), making it into an 'efographic.' An efographic is similar to an infographic because they are both long images. So, Efographic has a special feature where users can quickly fit any long image (i.e., infographics) into a square box for social media sharing. The result is an increase in click through rates for email newsletters and infographics because viewers see the whole thing and not just one image/portion of it. I think you could use some stronger examples on your site. The image quality looks a bit poor. I get the positive impact on CTR and such, but part of what makes email mktg so powerful is not just eyes on the content, but having a person's contact information and the brand reinforcement that comes from a consistent email mktg strategy. A large factor into what makes a quality infographic is the design - and that's what makes them so shareable. With the examples you've used on site, I wouldn't think twice about sharing them on any channel. The emails are so link-heavy that they just aren't aesthetically striking. It'd be easier to just use an image with a link to the newsletter URL. I think some stronger use cases would definitely make a big difference. Good luck! :)

@stttories Hey Tori, thanks for your comment. Noted about the image quality, I'll see if we can find some better examples on the homepage. Efographic solves two problems: 1. How do I put my entire email newsletter on, say, Pinterest? Efographic makes one long image out of the newsletter so that it can be uploaded to Pinterest and viewed with less clicks. 2. But something so long won't fit on Facebook or Twitter. How do I fit my efographic or even an infographic on Facebook or Twitter so that it fits? Efographic uses a Fit-to-Box tool to adjust long graphics to fit into a box that will share nicely on Facebook and Twitter. Normally, it would take a graphic designer 10-20 minutes to manually fit an infographic into a box. But using the Efographic slider, it takes a few seconds. I agree with you that some email newsletters are text/link heavy and therefore don't look great as images. This tool is probably a better fit for highly visual and photo-heavy newsletters and infographics. The "Examples" page is a live feed of the efographics users are inputting to the web app. I did not put them there. It's a paid feature to keep your efographic private. Hope this helps!

Hey! I gave this a shot because I thought it would do one thing, but seemed to do another. Looks like it just took a screenshot of the URL? If that's the case it seems like it would make more sense to just share the link to the web version of the newsletter, right? That way folks can still take whatever action you intended since it'd be active HTML. I also tried to crop for Facebook and ended up creating a really horizontal, sliced up image --> Is that right, or possibly a bug? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding the use...that is entirely possible :)

@Hello_BenHere Good question Ben. You are correct, it does take a screenshot of the URL. The problem when you share the web version of the newsletter is that you are limited to a single image or social card. Why not make the whole thing an image? Which leads you to the crop tool -- you crop so that the full image of the newsletter (which I'm assuming has several images or visual designs) can fit on a Facebook or Twitter post, thus engaging more viewers. With the efographic you created above, it looks like you slid the slider a liiiiiittle too far. Back it up a little bit and you could have a decent image in 3-4 columns.
