Hi Product Hunt! I’m the maker of earthquakestoday.net This project started as a way to make earthquake data easier to explore, especially location-based data and country-level trends. I’d love feedback on: * The UI/UX * Features you’d like to see (alerts, historical comparisons, exports, etc.) * Anything confusing or missing Thanks for checking it out and for the support.

Very focused webapp showcasing earthquake events globally, with all the aggregations by region you can think of (magnitude, # of occurrences, etc). "Biggest earthquakes" section was intriguing to scroll through, it's cool that the data can come from more than 100 years ago! The granularity goes very far, to the degree where you can investigate details about every earthquake occurrence on the map.

Bookmarked and saved. This is really cool.

What inspired this project? Any future plans for enhancements?

@pattynextdoor Although I'm a web developer, I've been interested in earthquakes and large-scale natural events since I was a child. I also love data visualization, so I wanted to do this as a hobby project. About feature developments; I need to check other project and understand what people need about earthquakes. I would like to listen if you have any advice. Thanks a lot for your comment. :)
