We've had people from a really diverse set of backgrounds, roles and industries find success with the product, so it isn't specialized for a particular job type or sector at this point. Regarding the cover letter, our AI is trained to highlight the skills/experiences in your profile that are most relevant to the job description of the role you're targeting!

@tuckhauptfuhrer it seems your platform only supports USA and nothing else, as I was trying to create a profile for Canada but it asks States of US.

This is really cool! Question for the team: Are EarnBetter resumes compliant with employer ATS systems?

@tjcsmyth Thanks for the comment and great question! Our resumes are ATS compliant - we’ve standardized them so they can be scanned and read by the major ATS providers. This means that the right information is collected by the ATS so recruiters can search by keywords, etc.

@james_morrison2 Thank you for the great question! The short answer is no. We think the responsible use of AI in the job search is not only ethical, but it also will help level the playing field for job seekers. Many job seekers today pay coaches to completely revamp their resumes or help with cover letters (we've seen that price tag range from $200-800). Nobody calls those people “cheaters”. With tools like EarnBetter, job seekers will have free access to resources and expertise that were previously only accessible to those who could afford them. Candidates will be evaluated based on their skills and qualifications, not their ability to format a resume or write a cover letter. All of this being said, we do encourage users to review their AI-generated documents for accuracy before submitting them. We have also designed the product to ensure it is quick and easy to edit these documents if needed. Thanks again for this question and let us know if you need any further clarity!

And, even if job seekers find a job they’re really interested in that isn’t on our platform, they can still use EarnBetter to help customize their resume or cover letter to that opportunity, too.
