Hey guys, I’m co-founder of Dubsmash. First line of code was written 3 weeks ago so we are still quite young ;) Here is some video we made at the Product Hunt meetup in Berlin with @eriktorenberg https://vine.co/v/OOex1TWwZT7 These are our ideas for next product features - Easy upload of own sounds - Profile to better manage sounds you like - Adding stickers / filters to the video - Improved discovery of existing sounds - In-App messenger function Looking forward to discussions / feedback on the product and our little feature roadmap :)

@jonasdrueppel Perhaps instagram intergration might be a good idea!? Love your app!

I saw this for the first time at the Product Hunt Meetup in Berlin. These guys ROCKED the house. It's silly, sure, but there may be something here. btw the berlin meetup had almost 300 people and was crazy awesome
@eriktorenberg we also loved the meetup - met great people there! Sure it's silly but it always makes people smile and you somehow feel like sending one back. What do you think of Dubs as the next 'self-made' memes ?
@eriktorenberg I just started using this with some of my friends. Though I'm not much into novelty messaging apps, this one makes me laugh a lot.
Discovered this today, couldn't do any work. Thank you.
Saw these guys at Berlin Tech Meetup, and again at the PH Berlin meetup. Definitely a crowd pleaser, and I can see it being great at parties (not to mention as a way to break the ice with someone). It's silly, but I could see an ad campaign run on this premise.
@atroyn great to hear that you liked our presentation. For sure it's parties but also e.g. birthdays, saying 'thank you' are occasions when you can make a dub. What's your feeling on using dubs as a new way of communication (e.g. In-App-Messenger) ?
@jonasdrueppel I think it would be a mistake to take this in that direction, the messaging space is super crowded with various gimmicks. I think you'd get more engagement if you made it more like a game, or more like memegenerator meets twitter, than a messaging tool.
looks like the app is blossoming suddenly. explanations?
