I am a big fan of @droplr and have been using it for a while now. @jb and team have done a great job on the app.

Ok, I'll ask the obvious question: How is this different/better than Dropbox?

@lylemckeany It's a simple menu bar app, and all you have to do is drag and drop the file and it gives you a link right away and copies it to your clipboard. I use it all the time (5-10x per day) for sharing screenshots and PDFs within 3 seconds. Versus Dropbox where you have to copy the file to the folder, get the link, and send. It takes a few steps out of the way, especially when you don't need the file stored in Dropbox anyway. Cloudapp is really similar and I've switched over for now to test it out. Droplr has been a bit buggy for me recently - disappears from MenuBar randomly.

When it's canceling the free version last time, I couldn't find a good alternative and end up creating one myself named "OneShot" by using DropBox as backend: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/... And if you are looking for a secure place, DropBox is definitely better, cheaper, support 3rd party encryption and with Two-Step Authorization.
