DragonX: Focus Time

Hi Product Hunt 👋

I’m Kelvin, one of the creators of DragonX: Focus Time.

As strange as it sounds, staying focused has become harder than ever — even when people genuinely want to concentrate.

Most focus apps today rely on simple timers or strict blocking rules, but they often fail to create motivation. We wanted to explore a different approach:
turning focus into something visual, rewarding, and slightly addictive — in a good way.

DragonX was born from a simple question:

What if focusing felt more like leveling up in a game than forcing yourself to work?

Instead of just tracking time, DragonX turns focus sessions into progress, growth, and visual evolution. You don’t just “finish a timer” — you build momentum over time.

What you can do right now

  • Focus sessions with clear visual progress

  • Growth-based mechanics that reward consistency

  • Clean, distraction-free experience

  • Designed primarily for deep work and daily routines

⚠️ Current limitations

Right now, DragonX focuses mainly on single-session focus flows.
Advanced features like:

  • cross-device sync customization

  • more progression paths

  • deeper personalization

are still in development.

We intentionally kept the first version simple so we could learn how people actually use focus tools in real life.

🔮 What’s coming next

Based on early feedback, we’re exploring:

  • richer progression systems

  • more customization options

  • better long-term motivation loops

  • deeper statistics without overwhelming the user

If there’s enough demand, we’ll definitely expand DragonX into something much more powerful — without losing simplicity.

🙏 Feedback welcome

We’d truly love to hear:

  • how you currently stay focused

  • what usually breaks your concentration

  • what you wish focus apps did better

Your feedback will directly shape where DragonX goes next.

Thanks so much for checking it out — and happy focusing 🚀
