What do you think? …

As an addict of buying domain names for projects I never really do, I always spend a lot of time trying to come up with a good domain name - after all it's the first thing the users see. So I decided to go meta and create a domain finder, I had a lot of ideas for how to generate an idea so I tried to implement all of them.

this is a very handy tool. i always get disappointed when I get the idea of a very cool domain but it's not available. does it also work for TLDs other than .com (.me,.bio,etc)?
Matan Ellhayani
@zignis I try to focus on .com because these are usually the hardest to find and are considered the most trustworthy. I'll explore other TLDs with time though for sure!

Hey there! I really liked your Domain Finder Plus. It sounds like a great tool for finding available domain names. I'm curious, what are some of the different methods it uses for searching? Also, do you have any resources or guides for those of us who want to customize it with our own code? Keep up the awesome work!
Matan Ellhayani
@dmytrosem Hey Dmytro, I'm glad that you liked it! there are 10 different algorithms for searching, such as trying different permutations of the keywords, adding words from a list or just addddding more letters. As for a guide for customizing, You can check out the advanced settings and check "Custom Domain Generator" - this will open the code editor. it contains an example of adding a suffix to the domain, the rest is just pure javascript, in particular a Generator function: https://developer.mozilla.org/en...
