DocReplacer

I’m a college student, and every semester I have to create 4–5 project documents using templates provided by my teachers. Getting the content isn’t hard—I can generate it quickly using AI. The real problem starts when I paste that content into the template. Every edit breaks something: styles change, alignment shifts, headings move, and spacing gets messed up. I end up spending more time fixing formatting than working on the actual project. After a few semesters, it became frustrating. I still had several semesters left, and I knew I’d be dealing with the same problem again and again. Document creation started feeling stressful instead of simple. During my semester break, I decided to fix this for myself. I built Docreplacer so I could edit text inside DOCX templates without breaking the original style or alignment. You upload a document, edit the text, export it—and the layout stays intact. The file isn’t stored after export. This tool started as a personal solution to a repeating problem, and now I’m sharing it for anyone who struggles with the same thing.
