for the past 8 months i have been developing full-stack software solutions for businesses using django. i noticed that everytime i started a new project i spent countless hours installing, configuring and building the same stuff all over again… that's why i created djast.dev a django boilerplate that comes pre-configured with login logic (w/ mail verification & oauth integration with google and github), payment integration with stripe, tailwindcss pre-installed, setup/build scripts and many more to ease your development process. spend time building your project, not configuring django packages. 🎥 watch the demo here: https://djast.dev/#demo

Maybe I'm late to the party, but as a Django dev, this looks like a great starting point!

@tmtabor I'm glad you were able to find djast even thought the launch was last year!

Let me know if you have any more questions about djast! The project ended up not having a lot of visibility so I did not kept improving the development of it, but I have been using the standard version for every new project I build and it saves me a ton (especially when coding with AI-assist as I use an .md file explaining the current development state of the initial project boilerplate)!

If you are interested in the product I am more than happy to talk to you about it! Feel free to reach out to me in any social media or email.

Djast looks like a solid time-saver for devs who don’t want to keep reinventing the wheel.

@alexanderscottwilliams Thanks, Alexander! That’s exactly the goal with djast. Spend time building what is new (the product) and not configuring other necessary but repetitive tools!
