What do you think? …

Artur Zvinchuk
Hey there, I’m Artur. A special thanks to @bramk for introducing us to the PH community. We are super excited to share Youpendo with you and hear your feedback, questions, and ideas. Scientists say we experience true human connection when we are being authentic and vulnerable. It would be BS to say that we created the app to combat isolation due to the coronavirus, but we saw that this is the time when people need human connection. With Youpendo we want to help people experience true human connection. To do so, we have focused on the following: 1) Built for authenticity: To be truly authentic and vulnerable, we either need someone who is very close like a family member of very distant like a stranger. We are focusing on the latter. 2) Meaningful and vulnerable user-generated content: Just like a good journal presents you with self-reflective questions, the app presents you with varying inspirations from an expert-approved list to help you reflect and create meaningful content. What do you think? As with any social product, there's a lot of iterations required to get it right. We'd love to hear your feedback. Start catching paper planes and feel free to send us your feedback & ideas šŸ˜„

If you want your life enriched by something more authentic than high-polished and anemic instagram posts, go for this app. It amalgamates human connection, authenticity, caring and surprise to something truly magic...

Attention, I must warn you: The app is quite addictive! First to the technical aspect: Rarely seen a brand new app that runs so smoothly and without errors. I've been using Youpendo for a few days now and the only bugs that have occurred have been fixed immediately with updates. You can see the guys are after it! About the UX / Design: Very simple and clear. This makes getting started a lot easier. Best practices from other apps have been taken over and combined with the unique Youpendo design to create a great user experience. One small thing I would wish for is to change the camera by doubletap. Finally the product experience: I never thought how much fun it is to catch paperplanes. The range is enormously wide: from heartwarming photos, to small everyday motifs, to inspiring personal stories. Paperplanes that you like especially can be both liked and commented on the app. I am curious how the application will develop and can only recommend you: Try Youpendo!

@leo_re Thank you very much for your feedback Leo! We are so glad to hear that you like the UX/ Design. We put a big emphasis on that and are glad that it turned out simple and clear. We have heard that point from other users, too as well as the ability to be able to play video sound when the unmute button on your phone is switched on. Our goal is to eject from Expo soon so that we're limited anymore.

This App is awesome, I found many honest people there! I love the fact, that I can share my thoughts with people around the world and get the honest thoughts of others. The idea to wrap the user contend in paper planes and throw them around the world is unique and gives "sharing my content" a whole new meaning. Design-wise the app is simple and very intuitive. Love it!

@benjamin_reichardt Thank you so, so much for the very kind feedback Benjamin! Were thrilled that you enjoy using Youpendo. Is there a feature that you would like to see? And how can we improve the app for you?
Benjamin Reichardt
@artur_zvinchuk1 Actually an "upload from device" feature would be sweet!
