I'm Jan, founder of Dibsido — a workplace booking app that takes the chaos out of managing desks, parking spots, and meeting rooms in hybrid offices.
How we got here 🛣️
The road here wasn't straight. We started by building a pool car booking system for one client, then pivoted to parking, and when COVID hit, companies asked: "Can you help with desk and meeting room bookings too?"
We pivoted by listening to what the market actually wanted.

Amazing concept but can users set their preferences like wanting a spot near a window or close to their team and have the app suggest the best locations?
@vera_adams1 Thanks Vera! Yeah, you can choose spots from our interactive map or filter based on spot attributes. So if you want that window seat or need to sit close to your team, the app makes it easy to find and book exactly what you're looking for."
It’s awesome to see support for both web and app. Is there a way to check usage stats or look back at booking history?
@shaw_brian Thanks Shaw! Yeah, the analytics module gives you tons of data about your workplace usage. You can see booking history, usage trends, and even export the data if there is a need.
What happens if two team members hit dibs at the same moment especially for something limited like a parking spot?
@ruby_westwood Good question Ruby! The app actually prevents this from happening - we have built-in double booking prevention. So if two people try to book the same spot at the exact same moment, only the first one goes through.
This is fantastic. Can companies use Dibsido to limit bookings for certain spaces based on department or seniority?
@thea_cartwright Yes! You can set group permissions and choose which teams have access to specific spaces. Really useful for managing department-specific areas or VIP spots.
