"Hi Product Hunt community! 👋 I’m the creator of Diabta.fr. I started this project because I realized that for many people living with diabetes, counting carbs is a daily struggle that shouldn't be locked behind a paywall. Most existing apps are either too expensive, too slow, or too complex for a simple meal. With Diabta, I wanted to build something different: Speed first: Using Meilisearch to find any of our 6,000+ ingredients instantly. Modern habits: We all see great "healthy" recipes on Instagram or TikTok, but are they safe for us? I built pre-filled templates so you can calculate the carbs of trending influencer recipes in seconds. 100% Free: No ads, no subscriptions. Just a tool to help the community manage their health better. I’m currently moving towards an official non-profit (association) status to keep this project growing and accessible to everyone.
