Hi, PH community 👋 I'm Inês and today I'm here to introduce you to Detool - the easiest way to optimise your SaaS spending. Whichever company you work for, it's almost certain that you have purchased tools to help you accomplish your job. The bigger the teams, the more tools they usually have. As time goes by, the ecosystem of tools grow- but people leave, new people come, direction changes, new managers bring new ideas, new tools are purchased 🌪️... Finance and IT leaders find themselves with the heavy burden of having to figure out which tools are actually still used and critical, and which can be cut or renegotiated. At a time where so many businesses struggle with going back to fundamentals, and focus on becoming efficient from a earning / burn perspective, cutting costs on SaaS you don't use is the fastest way to save money. Detool helps with: - centralising all info about SaaS costs and usage in on place - automatically surveying teams about the real importance of each tool - keeping track of renewals: so you're not caught off guard, and you don't forget to renegotiate your contracts - integrating with Google Workspaces to spot ghost licenses If you're working on your 2025 budget, Detool is exactly what you need to get precious insights and save money. I'm offering a 50% discount to celebrate this PH launch- you can use the promocode 'Founder' at the checkout through our website (https://detool.co/). Any feedback is more than welcome!

Hey. Didn't quite understand it.

@bockerwee Hey, Ali! So, most companies of a certain size (over 20 employees, let's say) have to run internal audits, from time to time, to figure out tool usage: so, from all the tools that have been purchased, which ones are actually relevant, used, critical, and not. This process is usually very manual - an excel sheet and lots of back and forth between finance/IT ops and the teams in the field. Detool automates the back and forth (you just need to provide a list of tools + owners you'd like to audit) by automatically surveying teams and showcasing the inputs gathered in a dashboard where you can then make decisions about what to cut, keep or renegotiate. It also helps keep track of upcoming renewals, so you're never caught by surprise and you have time to renegotiate or cancel the contract of a poorly used tool. Plus, it can integrate with google workspaces to seamlessly spot ghost licenses and unused tools (very common, you'd surprised). Hope this is helpful and thank you for your comment. Inês
