Love the idea, looks like the bike lock used to be when I was a child but with better technology. But still feels safer to be able to lock my bike to a pole or something.

I don't know if your hidden camera videos are staged or not but the production value is very, very good. That's fantastic marketing. My gut is weary of not having the bike attached to anything and just relying on GPS and sound but that's probably better than relying on a dumb cable. Love it.

as someone who has had their car broken into twice WHILE the alarm was sounding, and the people in the house 10 feet away saying, "oh i thought it was a false alarm," i'm gonna say this isn't gonna do much to deter anyone. the fact that the thief could literally pick up the bike and run off makes this pointless.

This is pretty cool, but looks like the bike locks on every single bikeshare bike in China.

This looks pretty much identical to the millions of wireless, gps and app enabled locks attached to Mobikes all over China with the addition of a very loud alarm (Mobikes do sound an alarm when moved, but it's not very loud). And it's that 110dB alarm at the slightest suspicious activity that sounds a bit worrying. How will this differentiate between suspicious activity and a truck passing or a strong gust of wind?
