Meet Debian 13 "Trixie"! The rock-solid OS that powers the internet, now supercharged. Features a new Linux kernel for better performance, modern dev tools, and legendary security. 100% free, community-built, and ready for your most critical tasks.

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out Debian 13 "Trixie"!
As the hunter, I'm incredibly excited to share this with you all. I've personally relied on Debian for years, both for professional server administration and personal projects. Its commitment to stability and the "it just works" philosophy is something I deeply value.
For those new to Debian, you might be wondering: "Why should I try this over other Linux distributions?"
My take: If you value stability, security, and software freedom above all else, Debian is the gold standard. It's the foundation upon which so much of the modern web is built. The package managers (apt) are robust and the community support is immense.
💡 New to Debian? I’ve also created a Debian 13 Beginner’s Guide to help you get started quickly — you can check it out here: Debian.Club. The PH Link: https://www.producthunt.com/products/debian-club
I'm here all day to answer your questions!
What's your favorite new feature in "Trixie"?
Are you planning to upgrade your servers or personal machines?
For the curious, what's holding you back from trying Debian?
Let's get the conversation started! Cheers. 🚀

@chrismessina I don't work on Debian development, but I do know some things about it. The new updates provide better support for large language model (LLM) infrastructure, which improves the training and inference of these models. However, in terms of AI Agents, there's no significant difference compared to other distributions.
My colleague runs all their production servers on Debian and swears by it. This upgrade will probably be on their radar.

Super excited for Trixie! Ngl, the "it just works" philosophy paired with the robust apt package manager has always been a game-changer for me – that kind of stability is truely invaluable. What's your personal favorite new feature or specific enhancement in Trixie for server deployments?
