Hey Product Hunt 👋 DateM8 started from a very real (and very boring) problem: planning dates in Sydney was way more effort than it should be. Every time my partner and I wanted to do something different, we’d end up bouncing between Google, blogs, maps, menus, and booking sites — and half the time we’d give up and default to the same dinner-and-drinks routine. I built DateM8 to remove that mental load. Instead of vague “ideas”, DateM8 gives you complete date plans — dinner + activity — sorted by budget and vibe, using real venues and realistic costs for two. What surprised me while building this is how many people don’t want more choice — they want fewer, better options that are already thought through. That insight shaped the product a lot.
