I’m the creator of DailyMe. The inspiration behind this app is personal: my son has mild ADHD, and our evenings used to be filled with power struggles over homework and chores. Traditional "top-down" reward charts didn't work—they just felt like more pressure for him and more nagging for me. I realized we needed a shift from "I have to" to "I want to." We started with a paper prototype, turning his tasks into "quests" and letting him design his own reward wishlist. The change was instant. He wasn't just doing chores; he was leveling up. DailyMe is that paper prototype brought to life digitally. While we designed it with executive function challenges in mind, we found that all kids benefit from this gamified, collaborative approach. It’s not just a task tracker; it’s a motivation engine designed to build self-discipline and replace conflict with partnership. I’d love to hear your feedback and answer any questions!
