I built Daily Streak because I’ve always used habit apps but never found one that truly matched how I wanted to track consistency. At the same time, I wanted to challenge myself to learn a completely new tech stack outside of my usual C#/.NET corporate work. This project became a two-year journey of learning React, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and building everything from scratch. Along the way I created a private test environment and iterated with friends and family for several months. The app even got attacked during testing, which forced me to rethink security and rebuild key parts. Daily Streak grew from a small learning experiment into a full product — something I’m proud to finally share and open to feedback on.
