We’re really excited to share our project with you. DADI is over two-years in the making and we've just launched in beta. The DADI platform was born out of frustration. Our previous business was an agency, and during the 10-years we ran it we built hundreds of content managed websites and apps for clients all over the world. Typically we’d use third-party content management platforms and user management tools, but this always ended up being a frustrating experience, with development complexity slowing us down and limitations within these tools limiting our vision. For the most part, the frameworks and tools we were using seemed locked in the past. So we set about building our own. DADI is a powerful, API-first development stack for products of all sizes and scale. Think of DADI as a connected collection of micro services that manage content and user data together in one pot, and has the intelligence to decide who sees what content and when. It’s evolving all the time and we have a roadmap that takes us well into next year, but we’re excited to share it with you as it stands.
@chrismair Amazing Chris. What an achievement. X
Looks great! Congrats 🎉
Difficult to find very simple differentiator. Looks ok as next CMS project, but why it's better doesn't hit me in the face.
@sielay We were faced with a similar challenge when trying to find the perfect solution to meet client needs. The modular solutions we found were quick to setup, but any integration made them verbose and restrictive when scaled. The more comprehensive solutions were rich in functionality, but resource intensive, and not always fit for our clients needs. We set out to create a set of Microservices that are quick to setup, performant and scaleable, but with the capacity for quick customisation outside of the core. Data is key, and DADI makes sure it’s delivered effectively, fast, and intelligently. It’s not just a service stack, it’s a data-driven ecosystem. One of our core engineers can give you a tour of the tech if you'd like.
@josephdenne Thanks, but that is not what I meant. I see there is benefit in your system. But for me (someoone who code and build CMSes and have some awarness) is very difficult to understand 1) what your system does 2) why it's different 3) why it's better. You need to clarify the message.
@sielay The best way for you get a feel for it would be some hands on experience. It's Open Source and FOC, so why not take a look?
@josephdenne I am hardly you potential client. I just give you a tip. Your product is fine. Your message about product is confusing and won't reach your clients as it could.
We're proud to announce the next stage in the evolution of the DADI platform: the creation of a decentralized network for Web Services. DADI's decentralized network is the first real alternative to traditional cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. Does anybody else feel like there’s something wrong with the internet? It was conceived as a global, democratic communication network — a mesh of computers where information and power were equally distributed — but this principle is under attack from all sides. Companies like Google, Facebook and Amazon are centralising control, while powerful lobbying groups are working to undermine net neutrality. We are facing a future where you are the customer — and the product — of a network controlled by only a handful of global corporations. But what if we reversed this relationship? What if we collectively owned the network, while also being the beneficiaries of the revenue that comes from its use? DADI is a global decentralized cloud services platform, built using blockchain technology and offering compute power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality to help businesses scale grow. It represents a radical overhaul of the cloud computing sector, by using cost-efficient fog computing organized by a DAO to provide web services for building digital products. To help launch the network we Are running a crowdsale in January 2018. Registration is open now: In stark contrast to other crowdsales, much of the technology of DADI already exists. It has been in active development for four years and the core web services are already live, powering some of the world’s most recognisable businesses.
