It features instant on-demand scrubbing without proxies, pro-level audio waveform and peak visualization, and clear color space and range detection. Optimized for long-GOP and high-resolution footage. This is not a replacement for your NLE. It’s the tool you open before importing footage.

I’m Kiyoshi, the maker of CYBMediaPlayer.
After 20+ years in video production, I kept running into the same problem:
before editing, it was surprisingly hard to quickly verify media quality —
especially with long-GOP footage.
CYBMediaPlayer is built as a fast, honest media inspector.
Not an NLE, not a universal player — just the tool you open before importing footage.
This is an Early Access release, and I’m focusing on performance,
frame-accurate scrubbing, and inspection workflows.
