What do you think? …

Marcin Michalak
I built CSVtoSheets because I got tired of the same tedious routine: download CSV, open Google Sheets, File → Import → Upload → browse for file → configure settings → wait → finally start working. Every. Single. Time. It's only 2-3 minutes, but when you're doing it multiple times a day, it adds up—and more importantly, it breaks your flow right when you're trying to actually analyze data. So I built a simple Mac app that eliminates the whole process. Double-click a CSV (or drag it onto the app), and it opens directly in Google Sheets. That's it. ~10 seconds instead of 3 minutes. A few things I prioritized: • Privacy: Your files go directly from your Mac to Google. I never see or store your data—there's no server in the middle. • Simplicity: No accounts, no subscriptions, no complex features. It does one thing well. • Native Mac experience: Works with Finder, drag & drop, file associations—feels like it belongs on your Mac. This is a small, focused tool—not trying to be Zapier or a full automation platform. Just solving one specific annoyance that I (and hopefully others) deal with constantly. I'd love to hear: how do you currently get CSV files into Google Sheets? Is this a pain point for you too, or have you found a better workflow? Happy to answer any questions! 🙂
