CoverItUp is a must have tool for teams of developers working on code bases with multiple collaborators or individual developers. When it comes to adding badges or code coverage reports, developers often have to navigate through various services, like Codecov, for code coverage, as an example. There are other important metrics that third-party services may not address, such as the new npm bundle size in a pull request or the new build time and lint scores on a branch. This tool gives you the ability to publish various indicators like these and maintain records, which you can easily track over time. The GitHub Bot can also comment on pull requests, providing a quick reference to compare these indicators with the base branch. Furthermore, this tool is valuable for managers and tech leads who want to visualize user contributions over time in a repository. This can help identify the health of the codebase and pinpoint potential issues. As a bonus, the tool allows you to embed charts in the README and create custom shield badges for your indicators. You can control everything using GitHub Actions, and the service only stores minimal information. This makes it ideal for Enterprise users who may want to self-host the tool.

Congratulation on the launch! Looks very interesting! Are you going to support private repos?
Kevin Cobain
Thanks for your comment - @kgrebenjukov Good question - Supporting private repos, brings in security and privacy concerns. Therefore, instead of supporting Private repos in this first release, I focussed on providing self-hosting solutions. If the tool is used by enough developers, and it's value is seen with enough people desiring the support, then yes, idea to support private repos can be in the future.
