Hey everyone 👋 We’re excited to finally share CoParty with you. The idea started from a simple but painful problem: Finding the right cofounder or teammates is way harder than building the actual product. For years, we bounced between Discord servers, Telegram groups, WhatsApp chats, Airtable lists, random forms, and cold DMs. We met amazing people — but everything felt chaotic. No structure, no matching, no filter for who’s actually serious, and no fast way to turn a chat into a real collaboration. What we needed didn’t exist: A place where builders could instantly discover each other, understand compatibility, and jump into action. So we built CoParty. What CoParty lets you do today: • Search for people or projects instantly • List your own project with a clear vision, roles, and needs • Apply to other projects with one tap • Get AI-powered insights about compatibility before you even chat • Move from search → match → video call in just a few minutes • Keep things simple, fast, and focused on action No endless feeds. No social media noise. No dead communities. Just builders finding builders. Why this matters to us: Everyone talks about the power of a great cofounder or team… but there’s no real infrastructure for helping people *actually find one*. Talent is everywhere, but coordination is broken. Students want to build. Developers want meaningful side projects. Designers want ownership. Founders want partners, not followers. But they’re all scattered across the internet. Our vision is to make finding the right people as easy as typing in a search bar. We’re still early, but we’ve already seen people match, meet, and start building within hours — something we wish existed when we started our own projects. We’d love your support, ideas, and honest feedback. Tell us: Who are you trying to find right now? We’ll use your comments to guide the next steps of CoParty. Thanks for being here ❤️

Great project. I have an idea for further development: often what’s needed is not just a “technical co-founder,” but specifically someone from a certain industry, with experience in a particular subtype of projects and a set of specific skills. What if you built something like an AI scanner? An AI agent scans selected platforms, finds ideal candidates, and presents the user with a list. That could already be offered as a paid feature.

Hey everyone, I’m Elif, one of the co-creators of CoParty.

My cofounder and I actually met each other while struggling through the same problem so many builders face: finding the right person to collaborate with. That journey is exactly where we realized how big the gap is.

It shouldn’t be this hard for talented people to discover each other, understand compatibility, and turn a conversation into real collaboration yet it was for us, and for almost everyone we met.

We bounced between communities, chats, and lists just like everyone else. Sometimes it worked, mostly it didn’t. But that experience made one thing clear: there’s no simple, structured, fast way for builders to find each other. So we decided to build the tool we desperately needed back then.

With CoParty, we want to make that “finally found the right person!” moment happen more often and way faster. Seeing people already match, meet, and start building within hours has been incredibly rewarding, because it’s exactly what we wished existed during our own search.

If you’ve ever struggled to find a cofounder or teammate, I’d love to hear your experience. Your thoughts will help us shape what CoParty becomes next.
