New web design inspiration on every visit

collected is a web design showcase which shows only eight sites, shuffled on every visit. Unlike other showcases, you will find new sites all the time instead of being limited to the recent entries. New sites are added to the stack every day.

I like this a lot. We are always looking for unconventional website ideas. Thoughts on how to monetize?

@lianne_bergeron Thank you, Lianne! I never wanted to monetize this, it’s really just a project for fun. :)

Some time ago, I started collecting nicely designed websites, especially unconventional ones, on an are.na channel. At some point, I used this collection to play around with the are.na API. When I couldn’t figure out how to show all the collected sites at the same time right away, I pragmatically decided to limit the shown items and shuffle them on every visit. This turned out to be the key feature and the main advantage over other showcases, as it means you’re seeing different sites on every visit. What was originally meant as a playground for myself has proven really useful when looking for web design inspiration in the past.

I loved this! Though I'm not a design specialist, but always down for nicely designed website that are worth stayin on. Thus, reducing bounce rate and improving UI flow.
