Coffee Scouters streamlines finding your next coffee shop. It creates an experience by giving you access to data that Google Maps can never match - in depth vibe reports for workspace & coffee quality, power outlets (and where they are in the shop), average light/noise/temp levels (in case you need a parka), seating types, real reviews, live busyness updates from fellow Scouts that are checked in, manage faves + lists, + more. Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Andrew, maker of Coffee Scouters. As a remote worker who spent years bouncing between coffee shops, I was constantly frustrated by the same problem: you never know if a coffee shop is good for work or study until you're already there.
The Problem: I'd arrive at a great-looking cafe only to find no outlets, terrible wifi, or it's packed with nowhere to sit. Existing tools like Google Maps show ratings and photos, but don't tell you what remote workers or students actually need to know.
Our Solution: Coffee Scouters is a U.S. based iOS app (Android coming soon!) built specifically for remote workers, students, and coffee shop lovers to discover workspace-friendly coffee shops.

Unfortunately, we don't have infinite resources at the moment, so importing initial coffee shops in a geographic area can be costly.
Areas covered so far are Southern California, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Boise, Phoenix, Tucson, Glendale, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Chicago, Orlando, Nashville, and New York.
