CodeVibes

AI makes mistakes. CodeVibes catches them faster.

CodeVibes is an open-source AI code analysis tool built for developers who want quality insights without expensive subscriptions. AI can generate code fast—but it also introduces bugs, security risks, and broken business logic. CodeVibes scans your GitHub repository, prioritizes critical files, and analyzes them to uncover bugs, performance issues, security vulnerabilities, leaks, and logical flaws—all in minutes.

I started building CodeVibes because of a problem I was facing myself. AI made it incredibly easy to ship code fast, but I kept noticing that a lot of AI-generated code looked correct while quietly hiding bugs, security risks, and broken logic. Catching those issues manually takes time and focus, and most tools that do this well are priced for enterprises, not for students, indie developers, or solo builders. I didn’t want another expensive subscription or a bloated platform. I just wanted something simple that could scan a repository, focus on the important files, and tell me what’s actually wrong before things break in production. CodeVibes started as that solution for me. Over time, it turned into an open source tool that costs almost nothing to run and helps developers ship faster without sacrificing quality. I believe good code review tools shouldn’t be a luxury, and that belief is what keeps this project going.
