Codestarter is the first non-profit ever to go through Techstars. Their mission is simple. Give each kid a laptop so she can learn how to code. Each laptop costs $250 to package and ship. It is a Chromebook with Linux installed and software to learn how to code. In the past few weeks since launch Codestarter secured 120 laptops.
