Codeport is a fully functional remote development environment that lives in your browser. It decouples your coding environment from your physical hardware, allowing you to code, compile, and execute applications from any device, like a desktop or iPad. But it’s not just for you. With Codeport, you can generate a secure, live link to your environment. Share it with clients to demonstrate progress in real-time, or collaborate with teammates without the "it works on my machine" headache.

Codeport came from the multiple problems that i have faced while working with teams, clients and my own projects, while i was working with teams always used GitHub as its industry standard but i had to pull and push the code for the small changes and its very annoying for me, so i just wanted something like that, me and my team have same codebase and we can work on the same codebase at the same time. In one of my hobby project i used to access the server by reverse SSH into my Azure VM, and then SSH again from home into the VM. Since my projects ran inside Docker containers and I used Neovim, it was always painful.I wanted something that i can directly access my containers Codeport solves all these problems. You just have to download an npm package and navigate to your project folder, just write "codeport" in terminal and here you go.... You will get the secure URL. You can use that URL and open it in any browser. You will have direct access to your terminal and the code now you can access your code from anywhere, anytime, and you can share live demos with your team and client I have built the custom p2p tcp libray, which is responsible for communication, since it's p2p i don't have to route any data to the server, and there is an encryption layer as well, so your data will be safe That's so crazy now you can access your containers and share your codebase with your team and client without GitHub. This is still an early version, but fully usable. I’d really love feedback from the community Thanks for checking out Codeport, and I’m happy to answer any questions.
