I just read @semil's interview with the founders, @timothy1ee and @nesquena: http://techcrunch.com/2014/02/09... The model is very different from traditional coding bootcamps: - The program is free, sponsored by paid training and mobile startups - Only those with a CS degree are admitted (the goal is to expand one's technical skill-set vs. ramp up a jr. engineer up from scratch)

Awesome! Is it "sponsored by" meaning payment up front (Sunfire Offices style)? Or "sponsored by" meaning some percent of the students will presumably convert to a paid competitor for a referral fee? (Plenty of Fish style)

@staringispolite Basically, we have companies that sponsor because they have engineers that need training, others sponsor the Demo Day event at the end and we do work with some of the interested engineers to help place them in mobile positions.
