Hi PH, I've always thought code and syntax highlighting were beautiful and maybe even worth framing. However, I found it was hard to find the "right" code to frame. So I made Codenail which allows you to upload a logo and shape your code into that logo. So far I've had friends order posters to commemorate a project, or a change of jobs. I've also had a friend order one for his intern. Pro tips: - For now, your logo has to be on a white background. - Try changing font size if initially it doesn't seem to fit! - Press 'Preview' to get a 100% accurate view of what it will look like. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! πŸ™πŸ» Thanks!

@francescoagosti That's a very creative and cool idea, and I agree with you - code looks really nice with all the different colours :)
@francescoagosti - just noticed the download option.
@ebrahimkhalil Hi, not sure what you mean 😁
@francescoagosti - this is really cool. i should have been clearer. i meant to say that i did not notice the option for the image to be downloaded for $5. making it a little more prominent may help with sales :)
@ebrahimkhalil Ah yes, marketing, my strong suit! Thanks for the feedback :) I'll be sure to make that a bit more prominent.
I've always thought there needed to be more ways to commemorate a code base. Love the ability to shape the code into an image too.
I hate that this is something I would proudly display in my home. #codeisbeautiful

There are alternatives to this product out there (e.g. commits.io) as well as manual approaches, but the interface that CodeNail provides is really handy. On a "business" level, I really think that the FAQs are super helpful and the pricing breakdown is really clean/obvious to the reader.

All in all, I can see myself purchasing one of these posters in the near future.

Pros:

Simple, intuitive, and easy to use

Cons:

Somewhat pricey but not unreasonable (in-line with competitors)
