Hey guys, we put together Closing Call as a little experiment. As big fans of communities like Growth Hackers and Product Hunt, we thought it was strange one didn't exist for Sales. I'm learning as much as I can about Sales at the moment so I personally wanted this to exist. I thought others might too.
@ryangum Nice, can you tell us a little bit more about what you guys chose to use to build this?
@omarqari In doing customer development interviews with salespeople I asked "where do you go online to learn or talk about sales?" and the answers I got back were all over the place. If we have a single, open sales community than we can all benefit - if you want to find salespeople for your product, or if you want to ask questions, share or learn.

The best "growth hack" for early stage startups is learning how to sell. You'll need it to bring on customers, investors and get journalists to write about you. We're excited about having someone to share tips, tricks and insights into becoming a better salesperson. It's an experiment, so we'd love to hear what others think!

This is a great idea @jamespember + @ryangum! As anyone with a great product knows, your company is only as good as your ability to get it to customers in need. I can definitely see a time when you serve the Closing Call audience with the best sales books, podcasts, YouTube videos, for building highly effective sales teams.
@Chikodi Thanks Chikodi, the potential is there but as we've seen with Product Hunt, the value is in the community.
